Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following eligibility criteria.

• This submission meets the requirements outlined in the KReF 11 Request for Proposals (RfP).
• This submission has not been previously submitted to another funder for consideration.
• All sections of the proposal application have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
• The Principal Investigator must be a senior member of KNUST.
• The Principal Investigator must be either an early-career researcher (within 5 years of completion of a PhD or equivalent degree) or a mid-career researcher (within 10 years of completion of a PhD or equivalent degree)
• Applicants with an ongoing KReF-funded project where they are PIs are not eligible.
• Applicants who have received a KReF award in any of the preceding three cycles are not eligible.
• Multi-Disciplinary applications must demonstrate a team spanning at least three disciplines, and are encouraged to span more than one College, and be led by a midcareer researcher
• A letter of Support from the PI's Head of Department and, where applicable, from external collaborators is required.
• An applicant may appear as PI on only one application per cycle.
